In October 2015 SCS Concept presented a FTY bench realized specially to satisfy the request of a German Automotive Manufacturer.
This bench features a swing arm with an external brake. The arm can be extracted and rotated, and the brake itself can be rotated as well on two axes. This solution makes possible the test of tools that cannot be placed on a standard test bench.
The swing arm can be easily replaced with another one with a different brake. The plug and play system makes this operation free from any specific installation.
The arm can be also removed to operate the FTY and a standard test bench.
Other two customers already asked the same solution to test their special tightening tools.
