SCS Concept presented a special FTY with support for tools spindles.
This accessory fix to the bench a spindle that cannot be handled by hands.
The spindle under test is fixed to the support, possibly with an additional flange, before executing the Cm-Cmk test. The test is run dynamically with torque/angle measurement and joint simulation as for a standard FTY bench.
Once the spindle has been fixed, the support can be moved up/down using the wheel, and it slides to the left/right to stop automatically over the bench transducers.
This bench allows the user to execute a test on hand tools, sliding the support away and using the standard reaction bar for the tool under test.
